About the Book
I remember passing a preschool’s logo that read, “Find Grandma’s Love at Knee Cole’s Learning Center.” Grandma’s Love was the pitch. The term “Grandma” did not necessarily refer to the biological grandmother, but to the character which society had accepted as being a responsible, caring and sharing, mature, aged lady. This character may describe a calm, loving personality, but please remember that “Grandma was no pushover!” She would give you her last, but accepted no disrespect! These values would distinguish or set them apart from the “other folks.” Children left home with a sense of pride representing their parents, family, church, and the community in which they lived……..
